Wow, it has been {WaY tOo LoNg}!!!!!

Sorry about the wait, but I will make it worth it! I have to say that the twins have been sick since November so you really can't imagine how busy I have been! Griffen was also sick at the end of the year. The twins had ear infections twice, the flu once, just general colds and whatnot. It has just been a while but we are having a great day, I had time, so here I am! The twins have also gotten 7 new molars. I have the toothiest little boys in town! Griffen is talking up a storm! He will try to say anything that you ask him to and is doing much better about saying what it is he is wanting! We were ruined by having a few days that the kids were able to play outside is just a light jacket. There was even one day where we spent 7 hours straight outside. The kids LOVE to eat on their table outside. Since then, we have had about 7 days straight of crappy weather. We have day rain, snow and a ton of wind. The kids are troopers though. They just want to put on their big coats and go out anyway. We do a little of that too! Really, we have just been trying to recover. I had surgery 2/11 and could not lift the kids at all for 4 weeks. That was VERY hard. I leaned a lot on my mom and my grandma as well as Brad's family. I am just going to post a bunch of pictures with a little description below. The kids are so cute that I could post 100's of pic's but instead I will pick just a few of the best ones.

Here are the boys just messing around. Griffen has not wanted to get out of his pajamas much lately! Who does? But he can always be convinced to get into nice clothes if he is told that is that Ba Bene (what he calls Grandma Bene) likes them. This was a rare chance to get all three handsome boys in the same picture!

Here is Griffen just hanging around in a tree. Grandma Bene and I put him up here thinking he was being really adventuresome. Little did I know that his Dad puts him up here and lets him sit there unassisted, Dad just stays close. That is scary!!!!

Here is a picture of Cale standing in the sand box. The kids all love it so much! But, we have cups and bowls in the sand box to play with and Cale thinks that that makes it OK to eat the sand. He is not happy unless he has a mouth full. It is a funny sight. I will have to get a picture of that!

Here is a picture of Boady on the slide. The first time the twins tried it, Cale was really reserved and Boady would not stop sliding down. The very next day, I could not get Boady down the slide and Cale was a mad man on it. He would go on his belly, on his back, head first, feet first, etc! It is funny how similar the kids are but also how different they are.

Here are the kids playing on the pedal tractor and the wagon. How smart are these kids? They are riding away (Griff is still a little too short to reach the pedals) and the dummy's, Mom and I are pulling them with a rope. Hmmmm, these are smart kids I am raising...

Here are the kids again in front of the fire place. They like to hang out here so I try to get a lot of pictures of all three of them here. Again, Griffen is in his Pajamas! Ah, the good life!

Here is a picture of all three of my kids playing with their cousins. We celebrated Leland and Sherry's 50th anniversary and had all the family over. It was wonderful to see the kids playing with their cousins.

Thanksgiving week!

And we have so much to be thankful for! Well, a big week! Thanksgiving was wonderful. We were on the run. We started by going to Shoshone to eat dinner with the Berriochoa side of the family. The company was great and the food was WONDERFUL! I was not so good with the camera however and I forgot to get any pictures. Then we went out to Carla's house and had dinner with Brad's family. It was nice and my kids had tons of cousins to play with.

Here are Cale and Boady running away from the microphone machine probably because they broke it. They played with it a ton because it had a lot of buttons. Good think Klayton and Kenna were there so that they had someone to blame it on.

Than the Saturday after Thanksgiving we went up in the hills south of Oakley and found a Christmas tree. Griffen particularly had a blast. He would not let go of that saw to save his life! We went with Cody and Sarah Somsen and their family and the kids had fun. It was fairly cold but really windy. We found a little cove and made a fire and roasted hot dogs. It was a lot of fun.

Then Left to Right is Cale, Mommy and Boady. We were sitting by the fire trying to stay warm. The twins really didn't like the wind at all! We had gloves on them too but we were just glad that the hats stayed on.

Here are Griffen and I decorating the tree. It was a lot of fun and just a little bit frusterating. Not too bad in my book!

All in all it was a wonderful week. We had a great time although we seemed to be on the go nonstop! The twins are really walking well! They make it from room to room with a lot of wobbling but no falling. When they do fall, Boady just gets right back up and walks some more. Sometimes Cale will crawl but mostly they are walking these days! Ugh! Where has the time gone?

Yeah, that’s right, playing in the dryer. The other day I was in the laundry room where I spend so much time these days and Griffen climbed in to play. He was quite adorable but then the babies wanted in so of course I obliged. They played and had fun but I had a terrible time getting a picture of all of their faces. By the time I got a good one, Cale was crying. It was tight quarters!

We had such a nice day today. The boys were able to play outside without jackets for a few hours. It was really a wonderful day.

By the way, on the walking front, Boady is taking off like crazy. Today Cale is much more cautious than Boady. You can never tell how it’s going to be until the day begins. Boady is doing awesome with walking across the room, stopping to pick things up and continuing on his way. They are both doing really well.

Well, mostly it is Cale but Boady is catching up. Boady started with a couple of steps here and there first but last night Cale just took off and took about ten steps. Now that Cale is walking, Boady won't even try! He seems to think he is being upstaged or something! It is cute! God help us now!

Well, we went out Trick or Treating today. Griffen was the Cat in the Hat, Cale was Thing 1 and Boady was Thing 2. They had a great time. It took a couple of weeks preperation to get Griffen to wear his hat but it was well worth it. He looked so cute. We just went to a few homes. We went to Andrea's house (our babysitter), a work friend of moms, the neighbors, Great Grandma and Grandpa Beavers and Grandma Bene and Grandpa Gary's. It was a great night and the kids had lots of fun.

In the last couple of weeks, the kids have been having fun playing with all of Griffen's birthday toys.

What a difference two years make.

That's right folks, my son is two today. That seems unreal. I know it sounds cliche but it really seems like just yesterday he was a tiny baby that loved to snuggle in my arms and then today he is a stubborn two year old who clearly knows more than I do. It is a strange feeling. I am so happy to see his independence growing by the day but it makes me feel so slightly obsolete. I am sure this will only get worse and worse but it is bittersweet.

This morning I made muffins so that I could put a candle in one and he could blow it out because he loves doing that. Well, I may have tried a little too early because when Brad and I started singing happy birthday, he burst into tears and didn't stop for five minutes! Urgh, drama king!

Horses and Pumpkins

Well, another day, another dollar. Things just keeping ticking away around here. Griffen is going to be 2 years old next week. Wow, how time flies! The other day Grandpa, Jesse, Laura and Dad moved cows to our house on the horses so I took all four boys out for a ride. Griffen was totally excited, the babies, not so much. Above is Griffen riding with Aunt Laura. He was having fun and getting used to Dunnit.

Here is Boady on Jasper, he did not really like being on top of the horse. Keep in mind all the kids are trying to get over their head colds.

Here is Rance on Jasper. He seemed okay but he was so busy pulling Uncle Gary's chest hair out that the horse was rather dull!

By the end, Griffen was not wanting anyone to help him. he held the reins and the saddle horn and then even let go to wave. He was loving Dunnit at this point.

Then on Saturday October 4th, we went to the pumpkin patch out in Paul. The kids LOVED it. It was a rainy day but we picked just the right time between storms and the weather was beautiful. We took a couple of pictures at home of the whole family in case the children got too muddy to recognize at the patch.

Here are Boady (left) and Cale (right). They had these cute painted up wheelbarrows that we put the boys in. They really seemed to enjoy riding along!

Griffen loved running around the patch itself. They have it set up so that there are a bunch of pumpkins cleaned and categorized to purchase or you can go out into the patch and choose your own. We went out there just for the boys to play and it was well worth it. Griffen kept throwing dirt clods in the air and watching them break. He had a wonderful time running crazy.

Yeah, finally a new post!

Oh my, so much has been going on! The twins are trying to walk! How crazy is that! They each have six teeth. The four most recent ones are just through the skin so I will post pictures f those when you can see them better. Griffen has been very busy as well. He is definately getting stubborn and want st d EVERYTHING by himself. He is very into Jon & Kate plus 8. He loves watching "the kids"!

Here is Grandma Bene hanging out with her three little guys. She had to go out of town for some training for her new job and when she got back the kids just went crazy for her. They love her and so do we, she is such a huge help to us!

Here is Griffen taking a page out of Amuma's book, (Grandma Teresa). He was playing on Uncle Jesse's slot machine and loving every minute of it!

Here we are at what has become our annual Labor Day trip to Lake Cleveland. We had a good time but that day it was 32 degrees. It was SO COLD! The wind was also blowing a million miles an hour. It was fun to take the kids though and we always try to get a picture.

This was on the way down the mountain. Griffen hates to have the sun in his eyes so he wears Brad's hat to keep it out. He is so adorable.

Griffen loves to help Grandpa Gary feed the cows. He now gets to steer the wheel and he tells the cows to get "out the way" with a sweep of his arm. The babies are generally down for a nap at this time but once in a while they have to sit around and wait for Griffen to finish. We informed Grandpa that he has to upgrade the feed truck to tote around all three boys!

Storybook Park

We have been meaning to take the kids here all summer long. For those of you who do not know, storybook park is this big newer park in Burley. It is awesome. Griffen ran our butts off! He loved the big tube slides but he likes yelling into them more than he did going down them. Brad and I each got a chance to play with Griffen and the twins were also very good.

This was Griffen on the Merry Go Round. We met this sweet little girl named Victoria who kept pushing him around. She was nice. Good times. We enjoyed ourselves! We look forward to many more fun times at the park.
