2 weddings and a *zoo*????

Yep, thats right. Micah and Brye got married on 8/22/09. I was really busy with all the bridesmaids responsibilities. The kids looked SO good at the wedding. We drank, we danced and we had a great time! The next weekend was Ciley's wedding on 8/29/09. The wedding was in Salt Lake City and so for a 3 hour drive, we decided to make a day of it. We left the house at 6 am and headed to SLC. It was a good drive there. The kids were pretty good.

Griffen Scott Baker

Cale Gary Baker

Boady Leleand Baker

The zoo was AWESOME! The kids behaved so well. We carried them a little bit, we strolled then a little bit and they walked a lot! We saw so many kids on leashes but our kids really stayed close but still had their freedom. We rode on the carousel. The kids enjoyed that of course. They only napped for about 30 minute each.

The wedding was at 5 pm (which was beautiful) and the kids were rambuncious but fairly good. They ran a little wild but didn't cry! (I suppose that is good). The drive home sucked but we survived it. The kids just wanted to be in their beds and ya know what? I wanted to be in bed too!

Yes, we are alive and well!

Well, here are my three little monkeys! You will not believe all the things that have happened in the last 4 months! These pictures are from Storybook park in Burley. The kids LOVE it there. Griffen is on the left, Cale middle, Boady right. They were so good for me. We had a blast. The boys stayed close together and I was the only adult there. It worked out wonderfully. Griffen has been potty trained for the last month. He picked it up wonderfully. He does have a pension however for public pottying. We are working on that! Hahaha!

Here are a bunch more pictures from the park the other day. It was a lot of fun! They are wonderful kids!

Here are the boys with their cousins. Back row left to right is: Griffen, Kenna, Cale, Kadence, Logan, Klayton. Front row left to right is Brenden and Boady. The kids have been spending alot of time with their cousins this summer and they have enjoyed it like crazy.

Earlier in the summer we went to Somsens to play on the water slide. Griffen went down that slide what must have been a hundred time. He loved that slide. Cale and Boady did not like it near as well but they had fun playing with the other kids.

The next week we went out to Steadmans in Raft River to play on their water slide at Brad's Baker family reunion. Of course Griffen loved that one just as much! That was a lot steeper of a climb we had to do over and over but Brad worked his butt off! Cale and Boady didn't enjoy this slide either. Next summer we will not be able to sit at all! Here though there was an awesome waterfall and a trampoline so the younger boys had just as much fun!

Easter and such...

Ah, lets see... what has been going on in the Baker home????? Well, I have been having picture op after picture op with all three boys! They were so cute on the couch! They just kept putting their hands out in front of them and yelling stop! It was so cute. Here is Cale on the left, then Boady and of course Griffen!

Then of course there was Easter. I just did little baskets with little fun toys in them. I got them punch balloons, pez dispensers, bath toys and candy. It was fun to see them look in the baskets. Kadence, Kenna and Klayton were there on Easter morning to wake up with the kids and that was a good time. The kids LOVE playing with their cousins.

Here is Griffen hunting Easter eggs. Dad and Laura took him around the yard. There were my boys, Kadence, Kenna and Klayton Spaulding and Logan and Brenden Heward. They had a great time and we hid over 75 eggs. They thought that was great. Griffen has even found 3 filled eggs since then. That is what is the icing on the cake!

Here is Cale getting an egg out of the tree. Aunt Carla took Cale out and they found quite a few eggs for a 1 year old! The twins had a great time finding eggs once they realized that there was usually more! At first it was all about what was inside of the eggs but then it got to be cool to find more eggs.

Here is Boady right out of the gate. I took him around and he had just a grand old time. The older kids did an awesome job of letting the little ones find lots of eggs.

Here are my cute little boys posing again for their mama. How is it that Cale always ends up on the left, Boady in the middle and Griffen on the right? That is the way that it ALWAYS seems to end up! They were just being sweet here!

Here are the kids in what Griffen lovingly refers to as the rain forest. He is totally into Dora the Explorer and Go Diego Go and they are always saving some animal in the rain forest. So this big group of pine type trees to the west of our house is our official rain forest. The kids play in there A LOT!!!!

Now, if you ever have a hard time telling who is whom among Cale and Boady, just look for the one with dirt, sand, cow poop, whatever in his mouth. That is gonna be Cale. That little stinker mistakes the shovels for spoons all the time. He has to have a constant mouth FULL of dirt or sand or he isn't happy!

Here is Griffen feeding BaBee's (grandma Bene's) bulls. For a long time Griffen only like the bulls and cows and horses and not the little calves. Now he has become converted and he loves them all!

Here is Boady feeding a baby. He is the ballsiest kid I have ever seen. Although he is the smallest of my three, he is probably the bravest by far. Few things scare that little shit!

As I said before, Boady is the courageous one. Cale is the one in the background watching the things going on. He is the observer more often that not when we are in public. He is mostly brave at home. Give him a counter however and he will scale that sucker in no time! LOL

And finally here is Rance Henry Walters the kids' second cousin, I think. His first birthday was on 4/14/09 and we went to his birthday part today. He was for sure the Blue Man!! He was great. He thoroughly enjoyed his cake and ice cream as well as his presents and company. He was a cute little shit that's for sure!

Wow, it has been {WaY tOo LoNg}!!!!!

Sorry about the wait, but I will make it worth it! I have to say that the twins have been sick since November so you really can't imagine how busy I have been! Griffen was also sick at the end of the year. The twins had ear infections twice, the flu once, just general colds and whatnot. It has just been a while but we are having a great day, I had time, so here I am! The twins have also gotten 7 new molars. I have the toothiest little boys in town! Griffen is talking up a storm! He will try to say anything that you ask him to and is doing much better about saying what it is he is wanting! We were ruined by having a few days that the kids were able to play outside is just a light jacket. There was even one day where we spent 7 hours straight outside. The kids LOVE to eat on their table outside. Since then, we have had about 7 days straight of crappy weather. We have day rain, snow and a ton of wind. The kids are troopers though. They just want to put on their big coats and go out anyway. We do a little of that too! Really, we have just been trying to recover. I had surgery 2/11 and could not lift the kids at all for 4 weeks. That was VERY hard. I leaned a lot on my mom and my grandma as well as Brad's family. I am just going to post a bunch of pictures with a little description below. The kids are so cute that I could post 100's of pic's but instead I will pick just a few of the best ones.

L-R: Griffen, Boady, Cale

Here are the boys just messing around. Griffen has not wanted to get out of his pajamas much lately! Who does? But he can always be convinced to get into nice clothes if he is told that is that Ba Bene (what he calls Grandma Bene) likes them. This was a rare chance to get all three handsome boys in the same picture!

Here is Griffen just hanging around in a tree. Grandma Bene and I put him up here thinking he was being really adventuresome. Little did I know that his Dad puts him up here and lets him sit there unassisted, Dad just stays close. That is scary!!!!

Here is a picture of Cale standing in the sand box. The kids all love it so much! But, we have cups and bowls in the sand box to play with and Cale thinks that that makes it OK to eat the sand. He is not happy unless he has a mouth full. It is a funny sight. I will have to get a picture of that!

Here is a picture of Boady on the slide. The first time the twins tried it, Cale was really reserved and Boady would not stop sliding down. The very next day, I could not get Boady down the slide and Cale was a mad man on it. He would go on his belly, on his back, head first, feet first, etc! It is funny how similar the kids are but also how different they are.

Here are the kids playing on the pedal tractor and the wagon. How smart are these kids? They are riding away (Griff is still a little too short to reach the pedals) and the dummy's, Mom and I are pulling them with a rope. Hmmmm, these are smart kids I am raising...

Here are the kids again in front of the fire place. They like to hang out here so I try to get a lot of pictures of all three of them here. Again, Griffen is in his Pajamas! Ah, the good life!

Here is a picture of all three of my kids playing with their cousins. We celebrated Leland and Sherry's 50th anniversary and had all the family over. It was wonderful to see the kids playing with their cousins.
